I am looking to upgrade my gaming computer. I pretty much only game on it, looking to get good results in games like black ops 3, fallout 4,
My current setup is
-I2500K
Been having problems with both the ram and mobo lately they getting old
-16gig gskill DDR3 1866
-Asus p8p67 rev 3.1 mobo
Both my gpu and power supply are new
-asus strix 970 gtx
-EVGA SuperNOVA 850G2 80PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V/EPS12V 850W Power Supply
I am looking to mainly get a CPU/mobo/ram/case.
Was thinking of getting the i7-4790k from microcenter and pairing it with a decent mobo

Any suggestions on this cpu? Read reviews and people have rated it high. If you like the cpu what mobo should I pair it with? Aside from that all i need is some ram and a case that fits it all.
