I intend to use VIRTUALIZATION often and processor performance is a top priority.
I especially desire performance in a SINGLE CORE which is supposedly better on the 4790K but I wonder if the site rankings represent a fluke there. Can any of you confirm?
I would like a 5 year upgrade window so I wonder if there is actually any significant advantage to FUTURE PROOFING. Is there a big feature the 6700k has? So far the most I see there is SSD interfaces but I can provide expansion cards to the standard PCI-e slot if necessary right?
Why would you want a DDR4 MEMORY when the latency is significantly bigger? It might be the largest distinction between processors but I am not sure which is better.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY, TEMPERATURE, and CLOCK POTENTIAL are pretty similar apparently.
