Hello everyone. I'm upgrading from an AMD dual core computer that's probably 6 years old. Yes, i still have DDR2 ram lol. Can someone look over this build and tell me if it's the best bang for the buck. There's a discount from newegg and I would like to use it before it expires tonight.

I'm using NewEgg for the build because microcenter kills me with the tax.

MOBO + CPU -> Core i7 6700K and Gigabyte G1 Gaming 7 MOBO

Heatsink -> H100i GTX from Corsair

Case -> Corsair 750D Airflow Edition
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139060

PSU -> RMCorsair 850W (Looked at the PSU list, it's a tier 2)

RAM -> NEED RECOMMENDATION PLEASE

If anyone can suggest DDR4 Ram for this build, that would be highly appreciated. I will be salvaging my GTX560 and my Western Digital Black Drive.

Total cost would be approximately USC $804.21 if i split up the order and that's after the discount and rebates.

Once again, thank you all for the help.

For 8GB, get the same series: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231894&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=.

i agree with tradesman we cannot help if we do not know what you will use it for, first unless you are using your computer for graphic design do not get this i7. it has very minimal improvement over the i5 4690k and has a huge price difference. my opinion choose the i5
