Does this work? I heard CPU+Mobo comes as a set, does this apply to upgrading aswell?
I have a ASUS Z97-C mobo and a 4670k processor, I bought 2x8GB DDR4 RAM without knowing that my mobo doesnt support it (stupid me). Instead of returning it i thought i might aswell upgrade my mobo. So can I just upgrade only the motherboard or do I have to upgrade the processor too? And if i can, what's a pretty decent motherboard for gaming that is compatible with the 4670k? thanks!
