I'm looking for a graphics card to play Far Cry 4 and similar games on 55-60 fps in medium settings. My system config:
1. i5 4440 3.1 GHz
2. Corsair VS 650 watt PSU
3. Corsair 8 gb RAM

Will Asus Geforce GTX 750 Ti 2gb OC serve my purpose or should I go for GTX 960?

I believe the Pascal are to be launched Q2 next year which means going by history they wont hit the shops until the end of Q2 or more likely early Q3. With that kind of wait just get what you can now as there will always be something new just around the corner and you will end up never buying.

Id go 960 or 970 depending on budget. I always think its best to invest in the best card you can as it will last longer than lower cards
if you have an older gpu card now and it working ok. i would hold off on a newer gpu. from news leaks nvidia is trying to drop the pascal gpu soon. the newer gpu is going to be a lot faster then maxwell for the same price.

may be dropping soon too.
