Mediocre power supply - do not use with this build.. EVGA supernova is better

Extremely high spec processor and GPU... very powerful, but not good value for money as you could get close to this performance for a lot less $$

motherboard allows overclocking, but the processor does not

Very large SSD and HDD.. Most people do not need a SSD this big.....

Ok can you please show me a build that is better than this for the same kind of money? That would be great. Thanks a lot! :) (may have sounded ironic but it is not!) also would be great if i didn't have to build it myself since i have never done that before

IMHO cheap stuff is a false economy, but once you get beyond a certain price point, you are paying a lot of extra money for a bit of extra performance.
IMHO between $800 and $1000 is the sweet spot

This is my best value for money build (based on prices in England)
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW ACX 2.0 Video Card
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA Supernova Power Supply
DVD optical drive
Case of your choice

If you spend more than this, you will get a better PC..... but the above computer build will do almost anything pretty well. If you have special things you want to do on your computer, let me know.

If you want to spend more money, get a nice monitor. I have a Viewsonic VP2770 - and it is very very nice

Definitely get the GTX 980 then.
Definitely get a really nice monitor to appreciate your high res graphics

Only get a Z series motherboard is you plan on spending a lot of time overclocking... which you don't need to do for gaming. H170 gaming motherboard should be fine with your i7 6700
250Gb SSD is enough.

Overclocking is where you spend a lot of time and money making your PC go faster than stock settings.
Either done for fun ("I have the fastest PC in the world!!!") or because your PC is too slow for the task you need to do.
Some people use their PC for making films and animation, and often have to wait over an hour while the CPU does all the processing. For these applications, making your processor go faster is a worthwhile effort.
However, for gaming, an i5 is plenty, and an i7 is only slightly better.
An overclocked i7 would give you no visible benefit.
