Hi ! Should i go for the Skylake CPU (6700K) or should i upgrade my GTX 970 to a new GTX 980 TI .
Now for gaming this is kinda obvious but the thing is that i have an old Processor (3470) and Motherboard Gigabyte (GA-Z68P-DS3). And i have a 500W Power Supply . When i first wanted to upgrade i wanted to get a new case (Entho Luxe) and A new Motherboard (Z170-A) to fit the theme but because i am new to building PCs i didn't know that skylake is not compatible . I got the Case and now i don't know wthat to do . My motherboard is ugly and old but i don't want to spend so mutch money on the Processor when it is still kinda good . And i don't know if i should get the GPU because i have a 500W Power Supply and my motherboard is not PCI Express 16X compatible even tough i have a 970 on her . And after the Power Supply and Motherboard i have a fear that my old CPU the 3470 , will bottleneck my 980 TI . So should i go skylake and get the 980 TI after or should i get the 980 TI now and go Skylake or even X99 after .
