I don't know if I posted this in the right category, but I think it's the one it fits most.

So here's my problem (let's call it "Idea"):
I want to build a smartphone running Android. I recherched a bit and it seems to be possible. So here's my idea:
I want to take a ODROID-XU4 and put a touchscreen on it, then I want to stick a small Wi-Fi Dongle in one of the USB-Ports. After that I'll 3D-print a case and assemble the whole thing.
Now the Problem:
Is there a small GSM-USB Module/Dongle I can put on the thing? And are there better alternatives for the "Mainboard"? Also I haven't decided which touchscreen I want to use.

Solution
I've never thought about something like this, it's brilliant lol... Yes, this could work, the only problems I can think of is finding an adapter for it to run off a mobile phone carrier's data network and getting a power supply with battery setup for it. It'll still be bulkier than most modern smart phones, but it'd be yours. I don't know if there are any better mainboards, but there probably are a few other options to consider. I'll take a look and see if I can find anything.

EDIT: Actually, I think it has a data modem built it.
