ASUS STRIX 4GB low fps on GTA V

Hello to the comunity i recently bouth a new card ASUS STRIX GTX750TI OC 4GB DDR5 and i was exited that i hould unlock that +60 fps rate that i so wanted ... But wen i play online/offline my fps are stuck a 30 fps.. Forgot to mention i also got a 22 intch monitor (benq)..
specs:
OS:windows 10
Ram:8 gb
Card:Asus Strix GTX750TI Oc 4GB Ddr 5
Motherboard:GA-MA770T-UD3
Processor: AMD Phenom II 1090T x6 cores

Unfortunately to max out games can often require a GPU that is >$300. I have an R9 280 (a few steps above yours, but nothing crazy) and I run GTA V around 45 FPS. But I wouldn't be upset, 30 FPS is very playable. Maybe turn down a couple of settings if you like.

You upgraded your monitor? Are you now playing in a higher resolution than before? Because that will definitely do it.
