which console is better xbox one or ps 4 ?
i want to know about harware specs both consoles use and main thing i want to know about is backward compatability (ps4 & xbox one paly previous consoles games)?

Solution
I owned a ps4 for about 4-5 months and then sold it so I could get an i5 4460 which was so worth it.

The only game I enjoyed/played the most was Battlefield 4 really and maybe a bit of plants vs zombies. In the end I had had enough of 30fps games as other than the two game I played the most the others were all 30fps (And Sony were like we are going to have 60fps only on are console... yeee right)

I now run a i5 4460 with a GTX 970 which can play Farcry 4, Mad Max, Phantom Pain, Killing Floor 2 all near max at 60fps 1080p.

You can easily buy a decent desktop for the price you could pay for a console, that or upgrade your CPU/GPU. Also the games on pc are way cheaper and updated way more often.

Oh ye and consoles have subscription...
Raw performance wise PS4 will be better. So for games that available on both platform usually PS4 version will have much higher res or better frame rates. But when it comes to console some people look at their exclusives. For example xbox have their Halo and PS hav uncharted. For those that really want to play those exclusives (and others) they end up having both console.

As for backward compatibility i think sony intend to offer tham through their cloud service (hence the acquisition of Gaikai inthe first place) but i heard it was kind of expensive. I heard xbone will also offering their own backward compatibilty but i haven't read too much about it yet. So you can google about that yourself haha. Probably it was through cloud as well.

When it comes to backward compatibility i think PC have it much easier. And company like GoG which sell lots of old games did their best to patch all those old games so they work with latest version of windows. And some games does not need to be patch at all. Take the original starcraft for example. The game work just fine on windows 7 despite the game is about 10 years old or so when 7 comes out.

Oh ye and consoles have subscription... so I hope you will enjoy giving Sony or microsoft more and more of your money.

Just save your cash and get a personal computer, if you like controllers just plug one into the pc..
