I recently updated the BIOS of my Asus m2npv-vm. When I did that the computer won't wake up from sleep mode. It just freezes with a black screen . I have to hard restart. Getting really frustrating to keep shutting it down. Also got:
0xC1900101-0x20017
The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation.

I was trying to install windows 10 and i got this message:

0xC1900101-0x20017
The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation.

Many people said to update the BIOS and see if that helps. It didnt help and now im stuck with a bigger problem:pfff:

So you are saying to download the original BIOS file and flash again.:??: The original problem was that I couldn't get windows 10 {error code listed earlier}and every Microsoft answer tech said to update the bios. That didn't work and now im stuck with a greater problem.:fou:

I tried disabling the wireless but couldn't find it in the BIOS{no such thing}. I recently looked on ASUS's website and found out the mobo is not compatible with win10:pfff:. It is compatible with win8 so will look into buying a copy:). Thanks for all your help.
