So, i'm thinking buying a new mobo and cpu on xmas. BUt, with what should i go?
If I go with a FX-8350 and a MSI 970 is a total of 270$ (lower is better)
and the I5-4590 and a Asrock Fatal1ty is a total of 335$ (expensive)

So, what you think? There is much diferent between a FX and I5?

sorry for english

The i5 uses less power and will perform better than the FX in just about anything but the most heavily threaded compute workloads.

There isn't any point in getting a Fatal1ty board (z97) with a non-K CPU, so you should be able to save ~$50 by aiming for an h97-based motherboard instead.

If you're going with a locked i5 like the 4590 there's no reason to go with a z series motherboard. That is unless you plan to use sli or upgrade to a k series cpu somewhere down the road. Otherwise a good quality h97 can probably be had for less depending on parts price and availability where you're from. It's less expensive in the u.s. but prices can vary in other countries.
