Help! Changed BIOS settings

So I entered Windows 8.1 BIOS using the UEFI firmware settings from the Charm menu. I don't know how to use the BIOS, so I pressed Esc and exited discarding all the settings. The settings won't be saved this way, right?

Your fine, there are not many settings you can change if you dont know what your doing that will destroy it, from the sound of it your perfectly fine. In the future if you ever worry, you can just do a CMOS reset which will revert the BIOS and all options back to defaults without even having to turn the PC on.
