Hello.

Since my current PC keeps crashing in various ways (Freeze at random points, in games it sometimes freezes at repeats the last sound and sometimes it just reboots), I think its about time to get/build/upgrade to a new one. I bought my pc used 4 years ago I think.

This will be my first build, so I appriciate all the help I can get. I've been spending the last couple of nights searching the web for hardware suiting my needs.

I use my pc mostly for gaming, but I also work with Adobe programs (dreamweaver, photoshop) and recently I tried to work with the game engine Unity.

My current PC has the following components(could not find all the information):

Motherboard: MSI MS-7357
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6900 series
RAM: 4GB

Since my PC knowledge is limited, I prefer not to overclock my new build. At the moment I think of getting the following:

CPU: Core i5 i5-6600 3.3GHz (intel boxed)
GPU: MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4G.
RAM: 8 GB (dont know which manufactuar to choose)

I know I have to get a motherboard with a L1151 socket, and that I have to decide which PSU I need when I have know more about the components voltage usage.

Since I live in Denmark, I cant really use the prices in the US for much. But I can still use product names and find the prices in Denmark.

Just to clarify what I am asking for help with. (since my english grammar isn't perfect)
I am seeking help to build a good PC that can run games with a decent FPS(my eye is on Fallout 4 atm). And that is able to handle building websites and games. I dont know if I should upgrade my current PC or build a new one. I hope I dont have to exceed my 500 USD budget.

If you need any more information, feel free to say so. (just not my credit card number por favor)

Thanks in advance :)

Im pretty set on the cpu and gpu i mentioned. What price would i have to pay inorder to get a build with those in it? But i appeiciate the build that you linked. Gives me a better sense of how to build it properly.

Thanks for the response. I was hoping I could build something with the componets I mentioned. I might have to use more cash than expected. Do you have a suggestive build with those parts in it? I appriciate the builds that you linked. :)
