Hi!

I've had this problem for over a year now and I'm tired of playing some games on my laptop.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti
Dedicated Memory 3072 MB
Total Memory 4.0 GB

RAM 16 GB

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10240), 64-bit

PSU: http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/thunder/thunder-700w/

The problem is that as soon as i start some games my monitor goes black and the "no signal" sign appears. Sometimes I can still hear sound and even talk to my friends on teamspeak. I've tested my PC with valley benchmark, furmark and occt without any crashes and temps over 80 C. Here are all the graphs from occt http://imgur.com/a/ACgoa . I've refitted the Graphics card, reinstalled and updated the nividia drivers I've also reset my bios settings and updated the bios. I've also reinstalled my operating system.

the only two thing that worked (for a couple of seconds) was downclocking my graphics card (reducing core clock and memory clock in msi afterburner) and lowering the graphics and resolution. (I don't really count this as a fix).

UPDATE: Just borrowed my friends GTX 570 zotac and it works fine. the question still remains, is it the graphics card or is it my psu that's faulty here. the GTX 570 might just work because it doesn't need as much power as my GTX 780 TI. What do you guys think?

If I missed any useful information just ask :)

Solution
Could be either video card or power supply, borrow your friends power supply if it can run the 780 and test that, and test your card in another system.
