What is good for a triple monitor setup?

I am looking forward to build a pc that has triple monitor setup of 144 hz and 1920x1080 resolution.
And i would like to know if two 980's in sli would be capable of doing so. Or if its better to acquire a single titan X or whatever other choice you think its plausible

5760x1080p is pretty close to 4k so you can use that as a guideline. SLI 980 Tis outperform a single Titan X in most games at 4k resolutions. So I believe that would be the better choice. However, even with a 980 Ti SLI setup you will still struggle to break 60 FPS on Ultra.
