Buying a gaming PC for around £500?

I don't want to make my own PC, and have heard good things about computer planet, who offer custom builds. My budget is about £500 (excluding the cost of a monitor/accessories/Windows).
I don't really know a lot about the components in PCs and also don't really care about frames per second (as long as the game isn't stuttering, it doesn't bother me).

Using the link below, can someone please make the best value build for around £500 (again, excluding Windows)?
I'd ideally want to be able to play games like GTA 5 and battlefront, and be able to play upcoming games on mid/high settings for a few years.

It's more the cable management that intimidates me :/

Also, would £500 be enough to play newer games on mid/high settings or would it be worth paying a little more?

You'll be fine running most stuff at medium 60+fps
It's always worth spending extra on your graphics card, it holds most of the system for games, so i'd always make compromises elsewhere to get the best graphics card, any spare budget would go there.

And cable management is basically just being tidy, thats all

If my budget is £600 max, should I go for an intel or AMD build?

cable managemnt is mostly just for neatness. as long as the cables aren't rubbing against a fan, its can look liek a spaghetti bowl and still work :)

If you want to build yor own in teh 500-pound range, here's my recommendations:

This is my idea of a system

It also overshoots the price by £100

They said "if my budget is £600 max", I happened to have a build for that so I pasted it in to give them an idea, read the whole thread first
