Hello Guys am really confused here to buy the motherboard that suits me in terms of price and availability, am building a gaming system with CPU - intel Xeon 1231,Gpu- asus gtx 980 stix, and ram and motherboard not sure which to opt for either ddr4 or ddr3 and do not need sli config because wont upgrade anytime soon in next 5+ years, i used gtx 285 and core 2 quad with 6 gig ram for 7 years from 2009 :D ,not a hardcore gamer but play when bored so i think its a decent build for 5+ years my complete budget is 2384$ converting from indian rupee but prices of the product are insanely higher at amazon.in when compared to new egg, just bought a samsung evo 250gb ssd from new egg to test if ill receive it properly, if its ok ill buy cpu, gpu,Ram and motherboard from there \,if its less than 15$ than the actual price here, so Guys pls guide me what motherboard should i opt for and should i get ddr 3 or ddr 4 and need a single graphic card slot that supports xeon thinking minimum of 5 years into account max may be 10yrs! Thanks in advance...

To use higher speed memory then you will need to switch to a Z97 motherboard.
For gaming I would get the 4690K processor for the ability to overclock in the future when it starts struggling to keep up with more demanding games. If your also using a lot of work programs that can benefit from the hyper threading then what you picked might be a better option.
Not sure what you can buy where you live but here is a few good boards.

I have Decided to get i5 6600k which is better than 4690k i think and the pin config is lga 1151 so now i should get a board that is 1151 and chipset is z97 right? I cannot use a 1151 processor in 1150 board right?
