Hello, I just wanted to clarify, that i have a not so good Powersupply which is Huntkey Green Power 500W , Now, i have my current Graphics Card PALiT GT 730 128Bit 2GB DDR3 96 CUDA Cores..

Im planning to Get a 750 Ti, i created a new thread because no one is answering me back on the old thread and i marked is at "solved" but now i have a new question,

As on my previous post i was asking if My power supply can handle GTX 750 Ti (Regardless of brand) as other have mentioned before they don't recommend using my power supply on a GTX 750 Ti because they said it was bad.

Now what i wanted to know is despite the same Power Requirements of GT 730 minimum of 300W same as GTX 750 Ti, should i consider this a safe point to Get this new GFX Card Without having to replace my powersupply?, because GT 730 Runs exactly Fine on my power supply and.. i saw on game debate that :
GT 730 Requires 22 Amps , 300Watts
And Only GTX 750 TI requires 18Amps, 300watts
I saw this here... http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=886&gid2=883&compare=geforce-gt-730-vs-geforce-gtx-750-ti

Others are not recommending me to get GTX 750 Ti and replace my power supply before proceeding, but as i saw the GTX 750 Ti requires less amps than my Current GPU that is GT 730? or is that even true?

I need an answer , some other guys said that Huntkey Brands Exploded When withdrawing the maximum wattage (some models, not exactly as mine). . but i don't think neither my GT 730 or a GTX 750 TI would do that as they have the same power requirement which is 300W.

Your PSU is low quality and dangerous to the system at any load but increasing the load further increases the chances of it failing and low quality PSUs such as yours tend not to die alone. The 750 ti uses more power than a gt 730, the gt 730 will use 23-49w(depending on the model) and a factory clocked 750 ti will use 60w, the oc'd models use more and a few require a 6-pin pci-e power connector as they draw more than the 75w the pci-e slot can deliver.

The decision is yours if you want to gamble your systems health with a low quality PSU.

The power supply is the most important component in a PC and the one thing that is given the least consideration many times. It isn't very glitzy and just sorta hangs around, kinda like your heart. That is the wrong place to cheeep out on.

What do you think is good?

Corsair
Gigabyte GE
FSP Raider
FSP Arium
FSP Hexa
Aerocool
Cougar
Zalman
Antec
Huntkey (which sux)
Cooler Master

Im not sure which one of those brands/models are still available or in stock and/or the nearest branch near me.

I need the one that suits for future GPU upgrades and not only for GTX 750 Ti (which i'm planning to get first because im really tight on budget)
I have in mind Corsair VS 450/550 or 650 ? which one should i pick that suits my needs

Okay.. i was planning to get VS series but sad to know that its tier 4? is it really bad..? im not sure if its still on stock.. i saw Seasonic S12II 620W, but its the only available seasonic listed (and still not sure if its on stock) and its on the list of tier 2 which is comes of my mind should i get this? its slightly higher price than the VS 650w but.. i want a PSU that last for future upgrades and stable.. when i looked up on the 12v rails.. none are listed,, unlike the Corsair VS 650 that says it has "single".. theres alot of choice to choose from but some of the powersupplies available are not listed on the tier powersupply. so which one should i get?

You are making this harder on yourself than ya should.
Use Asus's on line wattage calculator and find a 80 + certified unit made by one of the major power supply manufacturers that has the connectors you will need.

Avoid the VS as they are unreliable the 620w Seasonic is a much better unit, kinda overkill for what you have but it should last through several upgrades.

I know.. it was too overkill for only a GTX 750 Ti but its the only available seasonic model listed i could've went for something that has a lower wattage... i heard seasonic provides good PSU's so ill go for this then.. its time to save up some money.. and by the way. One more question. i was planning to add another stick of ram (exact same ram that i previously bought) .. will it alter some of the PSU's capability?.. or is it okay to add a stick of ram without any PSU Concerns?

Okay thanks alot for your help. are the list also updated for trusted PSU list? just incase i change it .. but im saving up now for the Seasonic S12II Bronze

Don't bother with S12II, it's one of the few sub-par seasonic models. Go with EVGA's G2 or P2 units, they are based on Leadex Gold and Platinum lines, and cost less than the S12II in most cases.

Well as i said its the only available good psu on the list of the store.. i would lovely get a much cheaper and a much lower wattage but the same quality than this but this is the only choice that i have.. cant you see?
