I'm going to buy my son an HP with a AMD Quad-core A4-6210 accelerated processor. Will this be good for mine craft and how many FPS do you think it will be?

Please, do not buy that. It is a terrible processor. It will be awful even for web browsing. If you simply want to get your son a desktop for Minecraft, can you tell me your budget and I will try to find the best pre-built PC at that price :)

Also, could you please link me to a website you want to buy the PC from? I will be happy to help.

No website I have a friend that sells to rent to own companies, I also can purchase an Intel pentium N3530 quad core 2.16ghz with Intel burst. Is that better?

No, unfortunately that will be even worse. Does he have anything like AMD A6/A8? Maybe even an i3 processor? Other Pentiums or Celerons?

It is preferred that he has anything at least from the more powerful Intel HD Integrated graphics family or the R Series iGPUs of the A6/A8 Series.

He also has the complete line that qvc sells as well available to me. I didn't look much into those because they are substantially more.

He does have a HP with a AMD A6-6310 accelerated quad core for a reasonable price with Radeon R4 graphics?

Thanks for all the help, he did just let me know of one last one that is a Dell with a AMD A8-7410 quad core processor and also R5 graphics. Would this be the best choice?

It will definitely be the best choice. The R5 graphics are not bad for very low end gaming. It is noticeably better than R4 but R4 is still good enough for Minecraft (pretty much the minimal requirement). If you are not willing to pay more for the R5, then R4 is enough for Minecraft but don't expect much more - maybe some Source-based games or really old games but that's it.

Thanks for the help, how many fps do you think it will be. He seems to get kicked a lot for lagging now
