I've had Razer Deathadder 2013 for quite a while now, and I loved every moment I've used it.
But it's getting old. The middle mouse button is not working sometimes, and the rubber covers are slipping off. I'm aware that this is fixable, but there are numerous other small things and I want to get a new one.
I've looked at the new Deathadder Chroma, but other than the changeable lighting color, didn't see any difference. And I love trying out new things a lot.
DPI doesn't matter, because I've never once went over 2000, and usually go ~1000 for FPS.
So, any suggestions? I do love Razer and will probably get the Blackwidow soon, and I'd like to keep the theme, but will definitely go for another brand if it's good enough.
The other Razer mouses don't really seem all that special - Mamba is basically a wireless Deathadder (and I don't need wireless. In fact, I'd rather keep it wired), Ouroboros is too complicated, and I don't need a bazillion buttons Naga has (even the 6 buttons on the side is way too much).
I play all kinds for games, so I can't really choose a mouse specialized for one alone, but I'd rather it'd be good for FPS games. That's where I think the quality of a mouse is the most important.
