Amd Prossesor compadible?

I got a Asus M5 A97 r2.0 motherboard.
Corsair cx 500 (yes i know it's a shitty psu)
Msi Gtx 660 (non Ti)
and also a Fx 4300 black edit. (overclocked).

I'm getting a AMD FX 9590 as a gift for christmas and i was wondering if it is compadible with my MoBo and my Psu? I don't need to overclock

According to the Corsair SP120 product page it's airflow is 62.74 CFM at 2350RPMs... while standard 120MM fans (at least in a quick search), are rated at 120-130+ CFM at 2900RPM... this limited information does not yield good omens, so more research should be done before seriously considering that combination.

And yet that would only cover the CPU temp but other motherboard components would also have to be considered with the FX-9590. The ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD motherboard doesn't have mosffet heatsinks, it has a 4 pin CPU connector.. and generally isn't suited for the FX-9590... the Asus Product page doesn't include the FX-9590 in the compatibility list.. so that says what I mean...

A basic motherboard with extreeme CPU is a bad combination... the motherboard supports up to 125W TDP CPU while the AMD FX-9590 is a 220W CPU... If you can't exchange the motherboard, better get the FX-8370 which is a 125W... And if you must have the FX-9590, get a better motherboard, the suggested cooler and PSU... I would even suggest underclocking the CPU, reducing it's clock multiplier and voltage so it doesn't run as hot... or at least enable all the BIOS and Windows power options so it's temperature is better controlled.

Would a Corsair H70 (with Corsair SP120 in push-pull) be enough to cool the beast? :/
