Intel i5 6600 with stock cooler

Solution
Stock cooler is fine, All of the non-overclocked Intel builds we do at school use stock coolers. Eventually the cooler may fail and then you can replace it with another spare stock or a cheapish aftermarket cooler.

Unmatched Compatibility
Zero RAM Interference

Focusing on providing the widest range of
compatibility, the H7 utilizes an asymmetric slanted
heatpipe layout to move the heatsink away from the
RAM zone, Offering optimal compatibility for RAM
with tall heat spreaders on both Intel 115X and
AMD platforms.

The OP asked if he had to buy an aftermarket cooler, but that CPU only is 65W (just a bit more than an i3 that runs cool enough with a stock cooler). Both the Cryoring H7 and the Hyper 212 Evo would be almost silent while keeping the CPU relatively cool at full load, but they are not necessary (though they are a nice addition to a new build).
