Does my MOBO support these ram sticks?

Solution

Yes that would do fantastically, and in the future you can just buy another set just like that and put them in the other dual channel for 32gb max.. Also according to your specs, you can run 1866mhz if you wanted a little speed boost, not clear on whether or not that requires...

So you're saying it's best that I stick to using just 2 sticks. If opted to do 16GB RAM I should just do 2 (2x8). And it isn't necessary that I use up every slot of ram?

If that's the case this must be a better match for my mobo?

Also according to your specs, you can run 1866mhz if you wanted a little speed boost, not clear on whether or not that requires overclocking though. You could always get the 1866 and if it requires OC then your board wil automatically underclock your ram down to 1600mhz. or you can just overclock your 1600mhz to 1866 by increasing the multiplier to 9.33 with a bus of 200. 200x9.33=1866, just loosen the timings by like 1, increase the voltage to 1.56V-1.60V
