Multiple thin grey lines across LG screen

Hi everyone,

I have a LG27EA63 monitor, however today I've noticed lots of horizontal thin grey lines, top to bottom covering the entire width of my screen.
Any idea what this could be and/or solutions?

I've ruled out GPU because I can still see them even with the DVI cable unplugged.
The monitor is about 2 years old.

If you see the lines with nothing plugged into the monitor... it could be a bad monitor. Is there any way you could trying resetting the monitor to see if that helps at all?

Thank you for the replies.

I can see the lines across the "please connect the monitor to something" screen with the DVID unplugged but power in.

I've tried a hard reset following LG's manual.

I guess that its decided to fault after 2 years of use?

That's a bummer... things always have a habit of failing after the warranty period is over... But look at it from another perspective... you get to buy an even better monitor now... unless you're like me and suffer from "Got No Money Syndrome".
