Hello

I recently purchased Assassins Creed Black Flag for my pc

I am running an i5 4460, an EVGA gtx 960 ssc.
The game is also installed on a ssd.

I am getting immense lag in the opening sequence. With everything on the lowest setting, at 1080p, I am barley getting 40fps.

I was wondering if there are any known fixes, or ideas as to what is happening. The config should be able to play the game.

Try all the usual stuff:
V-sync off (in-game options),
run as admin(right click executable->"run as administrator"),
Aero off(right click executable-> "disable desktop composition")
Fullscreen/windowed(in-game options)

Does anything change?

Also, just to make sure: Are you sure you aren't accidentally running off of the integrated graphics?

It's not the greatest port, but at the lowest settings you should absolutely be getting better results than that...
