New build - Motherboard question

So. I am planning to build a new PC with these specs:

Intel Core i5-6600K CPU
Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooler
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-2400 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 (MSI TWIN FROZR) 4GB GPU
Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming 7
Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD
Antec HCG-750M PSU

I hope i don't alienate anyone, but i need to know whether the Motherboard will need new software out of the box if it is to work, or if it will be fine out of the box. Thanks

No, you do not need BIOS updates for your motherboard, if that is what you meant.

By the way, you still need a power supply.

Of course, I just didn't include it in there. I want to get an Antec HCG-750M for that, since it's very reasonably priced. But i'll consider getting a more expensive one from Corsair if there is a benefit.

The Antec HCG-750M power supply is a great quality power supply, a tier 2 I think. You will do fine with that power supply, unless you want to spend more money.
