RAM will not clip in motherboard.

I bought a MSI 970 gaming motherboard and some crucial ballistix sport ram. They are both ddr3, but when I try to install the ram, it fits perfectly except for the fact that the clips on the sides will not secure the ram.

Also make sure your putting it in there as flat as you can, if you try and fasten one side at a time sometimes the extreme angle wont let you fasten on each side. Also make sure your pressing hard enough, it sounds scary but is said you need 30 pounds of pressure to properly seat ram.
