Click computer, go to organize, folder and search options, then change to don't show hidden files and drives?

Computer, top left organize, folder and search options>View>Dont show hidden files folders and drives.

Which files do you want hidden. Why not just use encryption on them if you want to hide them, other then that properties and change them to read only.
