Good morning guys, I hope you're having a great week, I have some problems, I have a pc MSI MS-A923, which according to specifications, supports the expansion to 4 GB of RAM, currently has only 1 GB of RAM, so I decided buy 2 memories of 2GB each with a 1333 bus allegedly supported by the computer,

New memory

Old Memory.

when I got home I decided to open the computer and change the old RAM for the new one, I got a surprise when I start my computer and this will not post anything even a simple beep, I tried several solutions I found both in this forum and in various Internet sites but have not managed to fix this, I found among these solutions, remove the battery to reset the memory and then turn the computer to detect my new ram, but I do not know if I applied this approach correctly.

Battery?

likewise, the bios has virtually nothing configurable so to speak, I can not find any place where you can edit the voltage or something Else.

so after all this talk, I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Alas!

Have you tried an initial boot with only one stick of the new ram instead of both at the same time? Also if a single stick does not boot in slot a try a single one in slot B. If the system boots you should have no issues when you install the second stick after the first boot into windows. Sometimes works sometimes does not but worth a try. Good luck.
