Hey, I am having problems with my Palit Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Graphics Cards and was wondering if anybody had any advice.

The other day when I would turn on my PC I would hear 1 long beep followed by 3 short beeps and nothing will display on the screen. I have a ASUS UEFI BIOS so after doing some research I found that the beeps seem to indicate a VGA adapter error, which is strange as I do not use the VGA port, I use the HDMI mini port.

I have tried using my computer with an old graphics card and it will start up as normal. I have also tried the Palit GTX 970 on a friends (with the correct drivers installed) computer and it will not work on that either, so It is defiantly the card which is the problem. I have tried to consult the Manuel for help, but it consists of little ore than an installation guide.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and has any solutions. The card is only a year old, so I would hate to have to replace it so early.

Thank you for any help.

VGA adapter error means an issue with the video card, not specifically the VGA port.

You tested the card in another system and had the same issue, so the card is bad. Needs to be replaced. Should be in warranty, most cards have way more than 1 year warranty on them.
