Hello,

I am looking to upgrade from my 770, and I am looking to either get a 980ti or 1 or 2 980(s). I am upgrading my monitor from an Asus 23" 1080p 60Hz to a BenQ 27" 2k 144Hz, and I am pretty sure the 770 won't keep up with the gaming. What would be my best option?

I would prefer to get an MSI GPU, but it's not mandatory. Also, if I would need to upgrade elsewhere from my setup, let me know.

Current rig:

- MSI Z87-GD65 Motherboard
- Intel i7 4770k CPU
- Corsair 850W PS
- Patriot Viper 16GB RAM
- Zotac GTX 770
- Asus 23" 60Hz 1080p
- Will be getting BenQ 27" 144Hz 2k
- EDIT: 2TB HDD and 250MB SSD.

Thank you,

A single GTX 980ti would be an extremely effective and straightforward upgrade.

A single 980ti can handle any game on the market (until you hit 4k resolution) with ease, and would avoid the possible issues that come with SLI cards.

Between two 980's and a single 980ti I would personally recommend the 980ti.

I just found a 980 Ti on Amazon for $460 a few days ago. I've been searching for a break in a game ever since (other than Batman and some glitches on BO3)... Also consider that the AMD cards are going to have a significant boost next year... So consider the fact that we haven't seen much in the way of Benchmarks in favor of Nvidia cards with DX12 right now.
