Hello to everyone on this amazing Cyber Monday.
I'm looking to upgrade my i5-3570K to something better. I don't overclock I just want a newer processor.
My question is.. is it necessary to upgrade this processor to something else? If so what? I'm not trying to break the bank, I want to spend at least $270.. I've looked all over the site for info and stuff but I cant really get a straight forward answer.
I was looking at the
Intel Boxed Core I5-6600 FC-LGA14C 3.30 Ghz 6 M Processor Cache 4 LGA 1151 BX80662I56600
But I noticed its 3.30GHz and My processor is 3.40GHz, is there any difference?
EDIT: I know I might have to get a new motherboard but that's fine with Christmas around the corner.
