This is kind of a weird thing and I hope you can help. I am more skilled at software kind of stuff rather than hardware, I have no experience in building computers and very little knowledge of inner workings. The issue is, I have an old gateway desktop computer that needs to be upgraded. Here is the cnet specs for it:

http://www.cnet.com/products/gateway-gm5684e-pentium-e2180-2-ghz-1-gb-160-gb/specs/

But the primary roadblock is this: I already bought other replacements parts that I KNOW the current motherboard will NOT support.

Here are ebay links to the 3 things I bought, video card, 8 GB RAM, and a processor (don't laugh when you see it).

Graphics card: http://www.ebay.com/itm/XFX-Core-Edition-Radeon-R5-230-2GB-DDR3-PCI-Express-Graphics-Card-/201302424215?hash=item2ede8f3a97:g:kCIAAOSwEeFU-sCR

Processor: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Intel-Xeon-E5472-3GHz-Quad-Core-12MB-1600MHz-LGA771-CPU-Processors-/141782142098?hash=item2102dfcc92:g:1foAAOSwEetWAZXR

RAM: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-SAMSUNG-8GB-2x4GB-PC2-6400-DDR2-800-240pin-DIMM-Desktop-Memory-For-AMD-CPU-/361185336397?hash=item541852dc4d:g:B7YAAOSw3ydVrhsr

I really don't need a top of the line computer or anything, I just want to be able to play a few games like skyrim and stuff at decent quality. The only answer I want here is a *minimum* priced motherboard that can support these things. I'm am fully aware that these 3 things I bought are probably quite odd and ridiculous.

Intel Xeon E5472 was introduced in November 2007. It is for a Socket 771 Server motherboard. It is for Data Processing.

The memory is
“High Density Memory RAM Only Support AMD CPU Chipset. Does Not work on All Intel CPU Motherboard chipset.”

Your old Gateway system has a uBTX (micro-BTX) Motherboard.

BTX (for Balanced Technology eXtended) is a form factor for motherboards, originally intended to be the replacement for the aging ATX motherboard form factor in late 2004 and early 2005. The ATX and BTX standards were both proposed by Intel. However, future development of BTX retail products by Intel was canceled in September 2006. BTX is obsolete and rarely used junk nowadays.

I would see if you could get your money back on the items you purchased. You might be interested in getting a barebones system.
