Realistically I wouldn't go 1150 anymore unless the savings afforded you a decent jump in graphics that you'd actually utilize. Though in this case I wouldn't suggest going with the locked 6700 with a near identical build, over the 4790K. Not unless the features on a Z170 board were deal breakers. Conversely you could always go for an i5-6600K in lieu of the 6700. Assuming you're not doing any form of content creation, or utilizing other various software that are coded to be well threaded.

Two other suggestions

1.) Ditch that power supply, unless it's like the only thing available to you in your country. Where are you from?

2.) There's better cases in the same price range as the Spec 03. Again, depending on your location options vary.

Cheers for the quick reply and i think ill go for the i7 6700 non k then. The only thing is I have heard some people say the i7 4790k performs better then the i7 6700 non k even at stock speeds. Is that true? And is the msi z170a gaming 5 a bad motherboard then?
And what power supply do you recommend? and im from the UK.. i don't want the power supply to cost to much Coz this build is costing me a lot as it is.And what case do you recommend i dont want it to be any more expensive then the corsair spec 03 though.

Omitting the case as it doesn't show in partpicker, but is available via UK amazon nonetheless.

I've used both cases in custom builds for customers. I'd take the thermaltake hands down for the same money. Also the power supply is aptly named the backbone of the computer for a good reason. It has the "POWER" to bring your components to life, and to kill them. Choose a good one.

cheers for the help dude
so is the i7 4790k a better cpu then the i7 6700 non k??? BTW im not planing on over clocking. And isn't it worth getting the i7 6700 non k coz its got ddr4 ram. i know there's not really any performance benefit at the moment but in a year or two wont there be a bigger difference between ddr4 and ddr3? and im probably going to stick with intel stock cooler as im not over clocking my cpu. And the reason i picked those Msi motherboards is because i like the colour scheme red, black with my red and black Msi gtx 970 would go quite nicely. What is it that's not good about the msi motherboards? and i prefer the look on the corsair spec 03 because of the red led fans and the case design so ill probably still get that case.Is there anything wrong with the spec 03?and already got a 250gb samsung 850 evo in my current build an 2 tb hard drive.
and im really confused about the psu because the corsair one is 650w gold rated and the one you have send is 550w bronze rated. So isn't the corsair one better?
