New build Endless boot loop

Last Night I finished my first build,turned it on but my PC only stays on for 3-4 secs before it shuts down then it turns on again etc( I can hear the fans and led lights).I tried with 1 same issue. I tried with no ram and this time it didn't shut down however I heard 3 beeps but I assume that's because I had No ram on. Are my ram sticks faulty?

Motherboard is z97 pro gamer and ram is 2 sticks of corsair pro vengeance 4GB ( 1600 MHz Or so I think )

Can you post your full specs? Always possible it's the RAM, but there are other potential causes too.

Did you breadboard first? Always recommended. Put the basics together outside the case. Mobo/CPU/HSF/1xRAM + PSU and see if all is well at that point.

At least if that's done it rules out certain things.
