I built my first PC this year, in the beginning of the summer. I had quite a few problems with it, but eventually resolved them after a month. The PC worked fine, until the end of the summer, when I accidentally dropped my monitor. The screen was cracked and colors were bleeding.
The PC repeatedly turned on and off after that, but because I didn't have monitor to see what was going on, I just shut off my power supply. I got a new monitor today, after quite a while, but my PC won't post. I went through with the codes the monitor displayed:
A2 = SATA problems. I unplugged all my SATA cables.
Then 99 = PCI-E problems. I took out my graphics card.
Afterwards, it still displayed 99, and I don't know what to do. My new monitor turns on, but displays "No Signal" and then goes to sleep. I got my old broken monitor and tested with it, and it appeared I got no signal from that either (although I can't be sure).
I'm connecting with a HDMI cable.
