Hi guys!
Here is a problem - I'd install new memory to desktop and now don't have boot/bios screen.
Computer load takes same amount of time, but after restart it shows blue screen for a couple of seconds, then black screen and then goes right to login screen.

No boot/bios screen and windows logo at the beginning or F11 option from Acronis.
I was trying to put old memory back, checked and unchecked No GUI boot in System Config, disconnect system from power and take out BIOS battery - nothing works. Hold F2 and turn computer on etc etc...

Any idea what else could cause such a problem?
Memory works like a charm, same with system, no problems whatsoever.
WIndows 7 Ultimate

Really hope TH's magic will work again and you'll help me solve it....

P.S: Didn't change ANYTHING in BIOS or anywhere, it was just a simple 2 stick memory swap...

Sorry I didn't mention it before - did not change ANYTHING in BIOS or elsewhere.
Just simply two memory sticks exchange, and as a result this...

If I remember correctly my motherboard had it set on as default. May want to check.

when you removed the battery how long did you leave it out for? You may also want to try using the CLR-Cmos jumper instead to wipe the BIOS instead of removing the button battery as this is sure to reset them and no worry about how long the battery was out for.

Well... Things r getting weird.
I did remove batteries and disconnect PSU fpr 'bout half an hour, put it back, power on - and hurray!
I got my bios/boot menu back!
But it cost me a lot - now I have "reboot and select proper boot device" error.
Can't startup from my system SSD anymore.
Was trying change settings in BIOS, disconnect my second HDD, DVD and left only SSD connected, connect in different sata slot, change cables - nothing. Pulled out SSD and was able to read and see every file thru hdd docking.

..... lost and found, thanks again to TH's community and great forum archives.
Found that CSM option was greyed out, pull out battery again and 20 min later was able to activate CSM - everything runs as smooth as it can be.
