will the MSI Z97 PC mate be enough and good

Im looking for an upgrade for my B85 motherboard

will the Z97 pc mate be enough? i heard that it doesnt support IGP but ill be running with the R9 380 4gb

i wont OC, SLI, corssfire or anything just for playing mainstream games and for music. I love good audio

if your not overclocking there is no need for a z series motherboard unless your upgrading your 4460 as well. if you like better sound you should invest in a decent soundcard

well then a z series board is a good idea, i can personally say that MSI equip their boards with very good audio, like my motherboard has the ALC1150 and a OPA1652 amplifier, the pc mate motherboard has the ALC887 better audio that your current motherboard but could be better. are there any other retailers in the Philippines?

UPDATE: i found another retailer and this board audio is very good but very pricey http://www.gigahertz.com.ph/dev/shop-by-category/components/product/asus-b85-pro-gamer if you like your audio quality and want a z series motherboard you will have to spend a bit more money but i will keep looking

i would avoid low end msi boards. go with asrock if you are looking for a budget board.

I used to have this board but thanks tho ill stick with the MSI to try a different brand and see how itll perform under me

if you are never going to upgrade to an unlocked intel k processor then just get an h97.
