CPU      : [Used] Intel XEON X5260 $ 8

Motherboard : [Used] GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L $ 26

RAM      : [New] Samsung DDR2 PC2-6400 2G x 4 $ 44

GPU      : [Used] FORSA GeForce GTX650 D5 1GB $ 56

Hard Drive  : [Used] WD 1TB Cavier Blue $ 29

My Questions are :

1. The medium spec games are playable with those?

2. How should I improve performance per my dollar , I mean are there other options I could improve ?

3. If I change GPU to [New] Zotac GeForce GTX 750ti 1GB GDDR5 $ 99 , will it be better in terms of price-performance ratio?

4. Does the motherboard (ASUS P5KPL-VM) support SSD installation ?

First of all, your CPU is NOT compatible with your motherboard. They do not have the same socket.

1) Depends on the game. New games will run low 1080p/ med 720p.
2) The CPU is a dual core. Try to find a quad core Xeon for dirt cheap (has to be compatible with the motherboard!)
3) Not necessarily. $50 vs $100 is a big difference but if you can stretch your budget the GTX 750 Ti totally rocks. New games 1080p on medium no probs.
4) I believe so, but I am not sure. Technically, it should work.
