I need some help deciding if I should buy or ask for the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 06G.
I don't want to buy something or ask that costs around $700.00.
It uses 300 watts so my main question is should I get the card or should I wait till something better comes out?

It won't be old for a while, buy it now if you want your PC now; its compatible with every game so you don't really need and thing better currently.

Get the card now. I can't imagine that something will come out soon that will make 980 ti's a thing of the past. If you want a powerful rig, get the card. However, Nvidia is coming out with a new line, called pascal. It's based on a slightly different architecture, but none of the specs for any of their pascal based cards are out, and it's probably going to be a while. I'd also recommend getting the MSI GTX 980 ti instead of the EVGA one, although that's really just your personal preference.

Thanks for the help but it might be a little too late.I'm building a new PC..I'll need to sell a lot of hardware before I have enough $$ for a new Graphic Card.

Yeah seriously even the 780Ti is a force to be dealt with and I expect the 980Ti to be great for a very long time.
