Hello guys since my old computer is starting to run slower i would like to upgrade the cpu, mobo and ram. My budget is 400€ up to 450€, i dont need more than 8gb ram and since im not really informed about the sixth gen cpu i would like to know if it is a nice idea to upgrade to that generation of cpus. My main uses are architecture design (3dmax, autocad) and gaming.

Thanks a lot for your time

Solution
You can not plug a hard drive with windows 7 in to a new mb and boot.

In your first post you give a budget of £450.
Costs can be trimmed by dropping the SSD and fitting a conventional hard drive

would be a massive upgrade
You will almost certainly have to also buy a copy of Windows to install . The hard drive you have will not plug in and just work . If you have an Acer windows disk it will not be able to install at all
