Just built this system from scratch with all new parts. Everything seems to be working except when I go to play almost any game in steam. within the first 15-30 seconds, sometimes after reaching the title screen and sometimes before, every game crashes. Tried GTA3 and 4, Far Cry 3, and TW shogun2. Skyrim, for some reason, works perfectly with all settings set to ultra. Additionally, flash player does not work on most websites - not sure if thats related or not. I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled all drivers. Im thinking I may have a hardware problem but need help figuring out exactly whats wrong.
i5-6600 3.5 cpu
msi Z170a gaming m5 motherboard
radeon r9 390 gaming 8G GPU
8 gb ddr4 ram
thermaltake 750w psu
corsair h60 liquid cpu cooler
windows 10 64bit ultimate (free upgrade)
although i planned to overclock, i have not done so yet
any help would be appreciated
