Hello and thank you to anyone who cares to comment with constructive information.
I bought this motherboard some time ago with intel i7 and 8gig ddr3 crucial ballistix.
I live in florida and we get a lot of electrical storms. Computer was on, I was away and my PSU blew. I'm not sure what happened really, I came back home computer would not turn on. After troubleshooting, turned out to be the PSU. I decided to buy a laptop and forget the computer for a while since I decided not to do gaming for a while. Today being cyber monday and all I decided to go and get a nice PSU 750W modular etc etc. I plug it all in and all I get is green boot light no other lights turn on. I research troubleshoot and clear the CMOS as it seemed to help some people. After many tries and reinstalling the CPU fan and installing new compound and clearing the CMOS again I managed to get the computer to give me the BIOS and it beeped with the no keyboard error. I was like hell yeah so I put all together connect a keyboard and turn it on again hoping to get the bios and go through my settings. Instead I get again no beep no post only green light for boot. No red light on RAM, or CPU. I kept trying to clear the CMOS but after 6 tries I am willing to ask for direction. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

When the pc was killed by the power surge or something like that, usually it will kill either PSU, MB, or other components. You have to use other compatible parts to test the components one by one.
Or you may try Bench it - Troubleshooting http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1753671/bench-troubleshooting.html you may find out which one is dead. And recommend you should use the power strip for your PC/laptop, don't just plug the power cord into the wall outlet directly.
