I have been looking into building a pc for a few months now and have been following the prices of the parts. I have noticed that the price of the Asus Strix GTX 970 card has gone up quite a bit. For starters it was on amazon for $325 for about 2 months until black Friday. The price then went down to $299 during black Friday. I thought that's pretty nice, then suddenly the price on amazon jumps to $350, $25 more than the price it had been for a while. So I check Newegg and now it is $380 on their site! This is surprising to me because not only did the prices go up quite a bit, but they went up after I heard that Nvidia is supposed to be reducing the 900 series price through the holidays. (Heard on Linus Tech Tips WAN show). Will the prices go back down in the coming weeks, or can I expect them to stay where they are? (I plan to build my pc after Christmas). Thanks
