iI did a reinstall of windows 8 on my toshiba but now all it says non bootable device

I let my friend do the reinstall of windows 8 on my toshiba and when I got home I turn it on and all it says is no bootable device

Did you remember to use the install media that came with your computer and load the storage drivers?
