How to transfer microsoft office and one side of a partioned HDD to a new SSD on a macbook late 2011

Hello,
I have a macbook pro late 2011 model and am going to buy an ssd to replace the hdd that already exists in it. I have partioned the hdd that is in the computer now using bootcamp and it is now split into 2 halves: mac and windows. I know how to fully copy the old hdd and and transfer everything to the new ssd but i dont want to transfer everything. I only want to transfer my microsoft office word, powerpoint, excel and the windows half of my partioned hdd. Is there any way to do this?

Hey there, sumoboulder!

Unfortunately, the OS is tied to the motherboard that it was installed from. This means that you won't be able to use it on the Mac, unless it was previously installed there. If you want to dual boot on the Mac, you'd need a genuine Windows installation for it.
Besides that, you also won't be able to transfer the MS Office pack to the Mac OS from a Windows OS. The software is different, thus you'd need a genuine MS Office pack for Mac OS X as well.

I'm sorry to say this, but I guess there's no way to do what you're intending. The best thing would be to start from scratch with your new SSD and clean install the Mac OS X, then you can configure dual-booting with Windows. You can read through this article if you...
