Sapphire r9 270x black screen during AMD driver installation, Windows 10 Pro.

Please help, can't install the display driver. it always makes the monitor go black and the pc crashes. can't seem to find a driver that won't have this problem.

May be a bad card, bad motherboard or bad power supply. Test the card in another system and see if it works there.

If the card is new and you have just installed it.
List all of the hardware of your computer.

The motherboard brand and model no.
Cpu used.
Memory installed, brand.

And the brand of power supply, along with it`s wattage rating.

it's an old gigabyte h61m-ds2 with an i5-3470 on a seasonic m12II evo 750w.

i switched back to windows 8.1 and the card's working fine.

it looks like a driver issue on windows 10. i'll try it again if amd release a more stable one.

Ah, the missing info LOL, saying that you went from 8 to 10 would have helped as it gives a clue where the issue may have been coming from.
