Than you for your answers they were very helpful. This is my updated part list:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($242.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($70.98 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.98 @ OutletPC)
Storage: OCZ ARC 100 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card ($308.99 @ B&H)
Cougar MX200 Black Computer Case (29.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($55.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $848.90
A few things...

CPU + MB - You have a Z97 motherboard (for SLI / CF and overclocking) paired with the non-overclocking i4-4460. Look toward the i5-4690k for the Z97 motherbaord (to overclock), or an H97 motherboard for the i5-4460 (non-overclocking). FYI... at the moment, the 4590 is only a few dollars more than the 4460.
CPU COOLER - Not needed. The stock cooler will be fine unless you are overclocking.
MEM - H97 is "limited" to DDR3-1600. Z97 is good with DDR3-1866 just don't go over 1.5v.
SSD - Added one.
GPU - At that performance level, and at 4GB, look toward the R9 380.
PSU - The EVGA B1 is a fairly weak PSU. Stick with XFX, Seasonic, the EVGA G2 lineup, or filter through the Tier 1 or Tier 2 list. www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

For editing I would go with a Xeon processor as hyperthreading will be beneficial. You don't need Z97 and H97 offers better value. A slight upgrade to the PSU. Skip the expensive cooling, stock coolers are fine for stock clocks. I picked any random case. And I fit a GTX 970 in there which should max out any game at 1080p.

sadams has a good build too if you want to sacrifice a little performance for an SSD while saving lots of money. It's definitely a good option.

First off, I would change the PSU, to a tier 1 or tier 2 unit. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
Don't need the cooler either. 120gb is practically useless, beyond OS usage. Wouldn't get it all from Amazon either, as you can build a better rig, if you shop around.

I would suggest something more like this.
