Hei, bought some parts on black friday for my pc build: Fractal design r5, Msi gtx 960 4gb gaming, Asus z170a, Samsung 850 evo 500gb, Hyperx savage 2666mhz 2x8 gb DDR4. This is the parts i bought on black friday. Rest of the parts i am going to buy is: Corsair rm850i, I7 6700k, noctua nh d15 (quietest Cooler on the market i think, If not please tell me a quieter one) Windows 10, cheap asus DVD drive.

The reason why i chose the gtx 960 4gb, is because i am going to sell it and buy a high end Pascal gpu when it comes out. I dont want to use much money on a gpu now because of Pascal. I know the gtx 960 4gb will hold back. But would there be any problems with the i7 6700k and the gtx 960 4gb? Thanks

Solution
Nope, they will run perfectly fine together. :)
Also the 960 should give you playable framerated at medium-high settings @1080p so you'll be totally fine, until Pascal comes. :)

Frist off mate, i use to say what you say too. If you keep waiting for new hardware, you will never buy. I know that. But i already bought a gtx 960 4gb If you didnt get that:) The 900 series is "old" now. In my opinion, it is better to buy a gtx 960 4gb now and buy a "gtx 1070/1080 when it release Than buying, lets say a gtx 980ti now.
